Change it to Robert Crais, Carl Hiaasen or Christoper Moore, and I’m there……

I am a big fan of dropping at least one of many “holidays” and allowing people to take their birthday of (the following Monday if it falls on a weekend). This way you get your own day and the point of getting a PC Holiday just to go shopping was always dumb, not to mention not everyone is off of work at the same time.

I agree with your dad, except it’s actually a birth date. (i.e. we celebrate on, say, the 12th, not on say, Tuesday)

So you run and you run to catch up with the sun but it’s sinking Racing around to come up behind you again. The sun is the same in a relative way but you’re older, Shorter of breath and one day closer to death.

Birthdays are a lot more awesome when you’re only Caulfield’s age.
