Eno: Y'Know, Fang, a pessimist would look at this glass and say it's half full.
Fang: No, that's wrong. A pessimist would...
Eno: Glug Glug Glug That's better.
Eno is walking down the beach, when he finds a lamp buried in the sand. He rubs the lamp, and a genie comes out. “In return for freeing me,” says the genie, “I’ll grant you two wishes.” (It’s the economy; everybody’s cutting back.)
“For my first wish, I want a mug of beer that never empties.” A beer mug appears, filled with cool, golden beer and a nice, frothy head. Eno chugs the beer. It’s the best-tasting beer he’s ever had. And as soon as he sets the mug down, it’s miraculously filled again. Eno chugs again, and the second tastes even better than the first. Once again, he puts the mug down, it fills, he chugs, and so on.
After about an hour of this, the genie is getting impatient. “OK,” he says to Eno, “now you can never run out of beer. What do you want for your second wish?”
“My second wish,” Eno answers, “is for another one of these mugs.”
The other mug would be for Fang, Fritz. Best friend or not, you think he’s going to share and get dog germs on his mug? Especially Fang’s germs?
Speaking of which, the wish should have been for a germ-free mug. He’s never going to be able to clean it, and it’s going to get dirty and grungy and germy and… be just like all the other dishes he has. Never mind. Maybe he’d share with Fang after all.

He’s an optimist alright by now, he’s into improvement. Two bad the tab is on him…the set-up is perfect for the glass to be filled-up somehow!
