I love the C & H fan strips, especially of them as adults.

I read C&H immediately before Foxtrot, so it actually took me a few minutes to realize this was not the same comic.

Not so much, not Meta at all actually.

I guess I am too engrained in western culture and too much of a fan of C&H. I read things left to right. So as soon as I saw the cannon and the snowman, the rest of the strip was predictable.

I guess this brings up one of the subtleties of comic making: ordering. Had this comic been published with everything reversed, it would not be as funny.

This is being printed and going up on refrigerators, even as we speak.

LOVE IT! I was just think the other day of all the comics that I wish would come back as a daily strip Calvin & Hobbs and FoxTrot are at the top of my list. Why do the good ones have to end so soon :(

What a waste…No need to end on a peak. C&H at half speed is better than a lot of comics.

Though, I still have to commend Amend for doing the same, even if it is half-retirement.

That is something that Calvin would do with his snowmen, at least until they become alive and attack in revenge.

Calvin actually did do one like that, only the “Target” was facing the cannon and gaping in horror at the hole thru its middle!
