‘And I had to do fun things like go to work, mow the lawn…’

    I can’t complain. I had 5 loads instead of 8, & I had a washer and dryer.

I think Sheldon (on The Big Bang Theory) can understand sarcasm better lately than Roger. [Try reading the strip over with Roger in Sheldon’s voice and Andy in Leonard’s or Bernadette’s. That gives it new dimension.]

Do you enjoy your work? I think your work is more fun than hers, unless you work in a laundry. Mow the lawn is a given.

Roger, have you EVER done laundry?

To quote Charlie Brown: “Don’t you know sarcasm when you hear it?” (side note: Why can’t Roger & the kids at least PUT AWAY their own laundry?)

I was imagining a reply by Roger. I don’t have to do the grass where I live now… if I could find it under the snow. But I do have to do my own laundry.

Actually, he did — but only once. Apparently, he used chlorine bleach on everything, which gave Paige an all-white wardrobe as a result.

Roger reminds me of PHB, only without the higher paid job.

So, mowing the lawn is a given, but doing laundry is not? Why?

My spouse and I do one or two loads per day when laundry needs to be done. Not fun to save it all for one day (or even two days).

Drop off service. Nothin’ like it.

In our house there are some things my wife will not let me do, like laundry and loading the dishwasher. She claims I don’t know how to do it right, and I will not argue the point with her.

My duties are pretty much limited to the category of “unskilled labor” and IT Technical Support.

She IRONS ALL the laundry? Why? No, don’t do that. Let the ones who use it iron it if they care enough. Otherwise, clean and wrinkly is fine.
