It ain’t easy to stay awake during a sermon. Believe me, I know. I’ve also not been to church in a few weeks since my new job (a Salvation Army donation pod attendant) scheduled me for Sundays as one of my three work days. I’ve been missing both morning and afternoon services since!
Vicar….. you should leave him alone….. it’s better this way than laying on the floor or swimming…………….. he might actually sleep long enough to get sober…….. however briefly.
Not much of a joke today, but like Mikeyj points out, finally some perspective to the art! (How about one of your famous redos of this this one, Mikeyj?)@Number SixI’m glad you’re back to feeling better. You really are amazingly liked and respected around here! I’m looking forward to some more of your comic strips.
Did anyone else not get todays comic? I don’t mean just one, I got none of them, yet when I went to the home page Jan.19 was there under “My Comics”! Did the guys forget to send me them today or what?
With the drought you guys are having, the river will be a dusty trail, I’’m afraid. I was born in Los Angeles and I can count on one finger the times we got to go home early from school due to rain. And I remember the one time when I was in first grade when they took us all out to the school yard to see the San Bernadino Mts. the smog (even in the 1940s)was usually so bad, you couldn’t see them.

Why do they even bother having a Sunday strip? Any of us could take a daily and add 3 totally useless panels and call it Sunday!

It’s a word often heard on the Simpsons in the early evening, so I don’t know what’s wrong with saying it here..No, it’s not Rap, or Wrap.
