Frazz: Someone got a new thermal mug!
Miss Plainwell: TOO thermal.
Frazz: Ooh, yeah. Can't have that.
Miss Plainwell: Half the point of hot tea is warming your hands on the mug.
I just use a ceramic mug. They make them with covers, too, although I don’t have one. They keep my hands warm when they’re cold, and the liquid stays warm long enough for me to enjoy, usually. Unless I’m outside.
I have that problem figured out. I fill my “Contigo” Thermal Mug with the hot coffee and add one Ice Cube before threading the mug top on to the mug. Solves the problem perfectly (for me).

And I don’t like them for almost the opposite reason…the coffee stays too hot for too long.
Break’s over, still haven’t been able to drink it…
then when you get back two hours later, it’s too cold, but you can’t nuke it.
Useless.

The heat is nice. I got some coffee the other day at a fast food place. The guy even apologized for how hot it was. Actually, it was barely lukewarm.
