Phone calls, even back during working days, were at least 90% interruptions to any productive work (and guys always assumed I was a secretary – not one of the engineering staff, which I was).

Now it’s telemarketers and charities who all seem to think they will have more of my attention than the 2-3 seconds it takes to hang up.

I agree that this drawing looks much better than the original, but it has less direction to the meaning. We have to assume that he is another of the idiots. Prom picture is the thing on the wall in the original? I’d guess that is one of the generic art things that companies tend to use in lobbies.

It got past the 1950s censors by being cleverly published in 1964! How’s that for outwitting the censor?

I got the prom photo too, but yesterday, and only for the precious comic. It does appear to be gone now.
