REX MORGAN: I always liked the artwork in “RM.” The characters’ faces were drawn in detail no matter how minor a part they played in the plot (Remember the lady at DMV when June went to report her driver’s license stolen?) and, unlike APT3G and MARY WORTH, the characters don’t all look alike.
MARY WORTH: It will take more than a scarf to keep Mary from freezing. She should be wearing layered clothing topped by a hooded parka. More reason for her to want to return to California.
APT3G: Another engagement to go on the rocks. If the characters in this strip aged like in Gasoline Alley they’d be old maids by now.
Phantom: Lara is dumbfounded that P. knows so much about her.
Rex Morgan: Not much going on right now.
Mark Trail: This could be called “The flight of the bumble bees,” if they weren’t wasps.
Mary Worth: No wonder she is cold. She is dressed like she is still in California. Did the cold also affect her make-up? Her face looks awful in both panels. She better hurry home where it’s warm.
PHANTOM: I wonder how this story is going to play out. I always enjoy seeing Guran in P’s strips.JUDGE PARKER: I am still guessing that some persons unknown may have hacked into JP’s computer and found either the location (of the computer) or something related to the Parker’s travel arrangements on the computer. While it may have been a secret where the Parker family was headed, it would not have been a big secret that April was traveling with the Parkers. A lot of intrigue…making for a pretty good story. REX MORGAN: Oh-oh. I think offering Kelly the guest room foreshadows that something is going to happen on her way home.MARK TRAIL: @ woodworker – I like your comment.
Judge Parker – Katharine has been using the computer even during the car chase. Could it act as a tracking device?Rex Morgan – Calling Summer is a good idea when traveling alone at night, she will know when to expect Kelly home. Also prevents a late night hook-up if anyone was planning that. Rex is suspicious.Mark Trail – Why not just make a run for it? Those wasps are going to keep him busy for a while. Trying to grab the gun might turn out badly.
