Is it in your nature to be continually hateful? Or do you have to work on it?

Merry Christmas to you….if it won’t start an argument or cause you to call me names.

Thanks; I can understand your frustration. If it makes you feel better, many of us have our own (if different) triggers. My personal response (or at least what I try to do) is to shake my head, understand there is no changing some people, and moving to the next ’toon. Maybe that approach may help keep your blood pressure down…..

Gee trout I am glad that others pointed out your trickery. When I read your post all that was there was the onset of the Patriot Act. Turns out you were not talking about our politicians as a body but only about Bush. I am going to ask Santa for one of those magic decoder rings like some others have so I too will know what you’ve actually posted, in defiance of your own words.

I was in full agreement until your last couple of sentences. Whether you “accept” them or not, whether the government “forces” you to accept them, they are here, they are human beings, and they may have as much trouble accepting you as vice versa.

Thousands of years of religious dogma, and we still can’t stand each other. I’d say it’s not working very well so far.

Hmm, I began speaking out against the “Patriot Act”, before it passed Congress. It’s a bad law, and I’ve often said here I don’t like Obama extending it any more than I like “W” taking ’leeway" to expand it under HIS administration Same for Military Commissions Act, and the continuing of “Defense Reauthorization Bills” with egregious clauses still contained.

While there IS NO “privacy clause” per se in the Constitution, that secure in their persons, places etc., does prohibit much of what’s been done since j. Edgar Hoover, and remember that like Greenspan, he served under many Presidents, of BOTH parties. “Power” has been a contaminant of humanity since Eve said, “You’re not getting any until you eat the danged apple”.

“NSA expanded under the current white house occupier.”And approved by a clear majority in Congress, Democrat and Republican alike.
