It’s colder than I care for down where I am. I am so ready for March.

I’m angry too. People are still talking about global warming – what’s up with that – not the temperature.

Woke up this morning, and it was 24.4! Woo Hoo! We’ve had that Arctic Blast for 8 days now, with sub zero temperatures. I guess it’s broken for now. Woo Hoo!

A whole bunch of faces in that Christmas Tree……:))

Maybe we are headed for an Ice Age. If we are going to blow things out of proportion, do it consistently.

There must be a better way to talk about the right than to denigrate the poor or educated classes. And why the need to use a bodily function to convey your message? Christmas is more than a Dicken’s Christmas Carol version of goodwill. It celebrates the birth of a savior who would be labeled Leftist, Commie and a bleeding heart by today’s right wing.

Merry Christmas. Christ (messiah or savior) – Mass (Eucharist or worship service of Christians)

The snowman on the right looks warm. He took his hat off.

Yay! Birdbrains goes controversial! Now, that’s funny! The only message intended in this cartoon is that snowpeople think global warming and cooling are due to seasonal factors, which was supposed to be the opposite of anthropogenic global warming. Come on – snowmen don’t know from CO2.

Please, everybody, lighten up. Both sides have their “arguments,” but some facts are indisputable. This is a topic near and dear to my heart, but I suggest everyone do some research. For the record, though, it appears ColoradoRon has done more than most. wink nod

One more teeny, tiny comment -

Some friends of mine have a new cartoon on GoComics. If you get a chance, please check out their feature, “WuMo.” It’s off the wall and I think it’s funny… but then I think lizard boogers are funny, too, so…

And thanks for reading this cold-hearted cartoon!

ColoradoRon said, about 3 hours agoColorado is a Red state except for all the metro sexuals that live in Denver and the hippes in the People’s Republic of Boulder. If you want to compare visions of the left and right, I suggest you read up on liberal-based Agenda 21 initiative that wants to cull the world population to 500 million and then force us to live in government mandate “people zones” so that goddess mother earth can repair herself. All the right wants is for people to be accountable for themselves and not lifetime dependents of the state. All the right wants is fiscal responsibility that doesn’t piss away the greatness of America. All the right wants is for government to limit itself to the roles prescribed in the constitution and not be a self-perpetuating, self-bloated, self-serving meddler in the freedoms of its citizens. And yes most of the right supports traditional family values that don’t bend and break to the evolving whims and declining morals of the self-gorging predilections of the “if it feels good do it” relativism of the far left.A little bit stronger of a comment then I am used to giving, but hey you pushed, so I pushed back…Regardless, I hope you have a Merry Christmas sandflea… Peace be with you and your family.-———————-

In the spirit of Christmas and Advent, let’s confine politics to the editorials, where they belong.

You are one of the more informed right, CR, and I agree with what you say about the poor. I also know how hard it is to live on Social Assistance, as I counsel them. Many have so many strikes against them, it is hard for them to make a living. I work to heal and support them through a crisis until they can get back on their feet. Having said that, please leave even the best arguments you have to offer to the editorials, where people who read them want to debate politics. Most of us reading the comics want to enjoy a respite from endless debates. Thank you for explaining your choice of words. Those who know me will be grinning that you think I am American. ;-)

Shika, we had a couple cold fronts pass through last January and February, but November and December were very mild. The north side of Houston was actually below freezing this morning, which is unusual this time of year.
