Rex Morgan: So we finally get to the dinner. It looks like they are having desert. The way Doris is talking, Rex was not the nerd that he led June to believe. She’s going to be asking him a lot more questions about high school.
Phantom: I know it’s a comic strip but please be a little more realistic.
Mark Trail: Same here.
Mary Worth: Hasn’t changed any. Only the location.
MARK TRAIL: Cherry should be smart enough to figure out that it wouldn’t have been necessary to shut Andy up and tie him up – unless Mark was in trouble. ALLEY OOP: I like today’s strip. A juxtaposition of tranquility and jeopardy.
Rex Morgan – Good save there, Rex.Judge Parker – She’s got her canned phrases pretty well memorized.Mandrake – In panel two, it appears that Froggy is armed with a dart gun of some sort.Phantom – She didn’t even ask him if he knows where Bandar territory is.Mark Trail – That guy’s story is almost as week as the one in the comic strip.Alley Oop – The Benders are notorious for getting a story off to a great start and then letting us down with very poor storytelling, terrible artwork, and slow moving plot.
“Umm, no, Lu Ann. That wasn’t what I was going to say. Sorry if I gave you that impression. I’m flattered, really. But, um, no. I was going to say I wish you and I could be better at posture, gestures, clothing choice, the way we use words. The decisions we make. Just more plausible overall as people. Separately. But that’s not possible since we live in the 3-G-verse.”
Judge Parker – He’s way too defensive and being a best seller made into a movie doesn’t mean it’s a great book in the literary sense. OTOH, it’s based on a true story so I don’t see how her criticism could be applicable.Rex Morgan – Right response for June, but insulting to Doris. Not memorable. And what, exactly, does she mean by “fling”.Mary Worth – He wants to take pictures of Mary?A3G – I’m surprised that Lu Ann would jump to this conclusion and voice it, just because all the other men she meets want to be more than friends.Phantom- Is this character based on Lara Logan and will she end up reporting someone else’s experience that aren’t really true?Mark Trail – I agree with Florchi, Cherry should be able to steer this investigation in the right direction.

REX MORGAN:My comments ditto woodworker/
APT3G: This comic is nothing but two characters facing the readers and dialogueing their lines.
MARY WORTH: Would Ken have anything mischievous in mind if he had a camera?
