Good morning, Vagabonds. Did errands today, including stocking up on Forever stamps before the rise in postal rates. The Forever stamps are really beautiful.

Glad our East Coast family is “warming” up!
We watched the New Year’s Great Performances in Vienna……..the annual Strauss concert. What a glamorous event full of great music and showing the beautiful concert hall. What grand architecture!
We went to see “Saving Mr. Banks” yesterday. It was a very good movie (and the first we’ve seen in a theater in over a year). I highly recommend it to any and all Mary Poppins fans. It was fun to see the production process in creating a script. Emma Thompson made a great curmudgeonly English lady and Tom Hanks was super as Walt Disney. Needless to say, we will watch Mary Poppins today.
Good morning Vagabonds..We’er above zero, but not above freezing..Going to see the Hobbit movie to day, I hope..Beside that nothing much else happening..Have fun..ttfn
It got down to minus 3.6 during the night, with a high of 14 yesterday. Didn’t have to go out, sooooooo………did a bunch of closet cleaning, etc. very productive day. :)) Have to tackle my library, and pull out some authors that I don’t intend to re-read, and donate them to the shelter. (it’s also time to clean out the clothes, too, but maybe next week)
Glad I’m not having the temps some of you are having. Thurs. night it got down to 1 degree but that is unusual for us. Today may make it into the 40’s before it gets colder on Tues. night. Just stay in and warm.

It has stopped snowing and turned VERY cold … but as always is true in the winter months here, the wind is screaming.
