While Republicans and conservatives try to destroy Obamacare in favor of the status quo, 72 or so people die daily of treatable conditions because they cannot obtain affordable health care under the present status quo. That is unconscionable.
The ACA is doing great. Yesterday NPR had a nice spot on a couple in Flagler, the reddest part of Colorado, who are going to save over $1000 per month on their new plan. That story is happening all over, and is going to change a lot of minds.
You make the dubious point that 93-120 million will lose insurance and then assume that is the end of the story. Me thinks you are being premature and more than a little hysterical.
Maybe conservatives object to businesses having to lay people off, or curtail their hours as a result of the costs Obamacare imposes on them. Maybe they resent the wholesale, deliberate lies their President told repeatedly to sell them on his flawed program. The program that would let me keep my old policy, choose my doctor, save the average family $2500 annually and insure 30 million uninsured does none of that. Why would we allow ourselves to be bamboozled so completely? The problem isn’t that conservatives hate Obama. They resent having been mugged by Obama.
