I liked the man who said his business flights were the only time he was able to just relax since he couldn’t access email and receive texts. Now, he would not only have to go through the flight, but instead of napping or reading, he’d have to keep working.
    Progress?
    Respectfully,
    C.

Meh. He can just turn it off. I recommend the same for vacations.

    To paraphrase Cat Stevens:

“Baby, Baby it is a wired world….”

The problem is that American business wrongly interprets activity as productivity.

^Hmm, anti-government, anti-TSA nut with a “military style” rifle gets into the terminal, and shoots up TSA folks. Was he dressed like a “terrorist”?

I beg to differ. Or perhaps flights within the EU are different. I fly every month and while my laptop is scanned separately whilst going through security (others have their tablets/ipads scanned), and I must not have them switched on – like mobiles/cell-phones- during take-off and landings, I’m allowed to switch them on once we’re air-borne. My ipod is not scanned separately, nor is my mobile/cell-phone but I can use them on-board.

Another idiot toon desperate to stretch a non-existent complaint. As if people are going to be trapped by your neighbor who is constantly shopping for health insurance, vs. the one yakking endlessly on a cell phone or playing noisy games.
