    Good morning Vagabonds.

Was 32 and windy yesterday. Today cold with a weekend storm starting this afternoon and continuing into Sun. afternoon. Have a storm warning but not sure of the amount of accumulation. For my area they are saying 3 to 6 inches and then warming up and turning to rain. Who knows until it happens. All the people are going crazy buying shovels and salt. What happened to the shovels they bought last year? I still have mine from many years ago.Everyone take care of them selves.

Morning, Vagabonds. Earp bashers have always enjoyed retelling the story of Wyatt’s “Vendetta Ride,” but it is not fair or even possible to force 21st century mores onto the frontier society of the 19th century. Earp learned that unless there were eyewitnesses who would testify that they saw a murderer standing over his victim with a smoking gun, the cowboys would continue to get away with murder. For one thing, they always provided each other with alibis. When the cowboys learned that they could shoot from the shadows and shoot their victims in the back, they would always get away clean. So when Virgil named Frank Stillwell as one of the men he saw during the attempt on his life, Earp felt justified in becoming Stillwell’s judge, jury, and executioner. The very day after Morgan’s assassination, Earp encountered Stillwell at the Tucson train station and shot him to death with a shotgun.

    Good Morning, Everyone,

It got down to 34 during the night, and we had a high of 39 yesterday. Really great!!

Finally got around to decorating the house yesterday. We only pulled out a small amount of goodies since we’ll be gone so much.

Bill…………it sounds like you live in great communities! Love hearing about your card game “winnings”, and the pot lucks!

Jan, we’ll probably just watch Downton Abbey on PBS as they broadcast. Did I tell you we watch them with the sub titles because we can’t understand all of the British accents? Silly, huh?

    Good morning, Vagabonds.

Funny thing, we just watched the Jim Carrey version of A Christmas Carol on Thursday. I loved Bob Hoskins as Fezzywig.

Our annual Christmas tea is this afternoon. I have to be at church at noon to help get everything set up.

Good morning, Vagabonds. I’m 2/3rds of the way through Tom Friedman’s book, “From Beirut to Jerusalem.”

    Good morning Vagabonds.

Haven’t been out yet but it looks like about 3 inches of wet snow as it turned to rain during the night. Guess I’ll have to use the snow blower as it will be too wet to hand shovel.

Temp right now in high 30’s

Have a good day and will see you all tomorrow.

    Good Morning, Vagabonds,

It’s 34 right now. Got all the way up to 42 yesterday! Woo Hoo! About 80% of the snow has melted. But, by the time we get home in a few weeks, we expect to see it white again.

We watched our favorite Christmas movie last night…….White Christmas! It’s a loonnnggg movie, with the big build up to that beautiful final scene with the General’s party. Always a tear-jerker. :))
