Oh,brother! One of the girls at the boarding school I attended brought in lice. I don’t know what they put on our heads, but it itched like mad. And we had to have clean sheets every day. Must have driven the laundry people mad. And, like Alice, we girls didn’t think it was a big deal, just the teachers making a fuss.
