Say what do you O&M fans think of us HN fans walking in on this strip in the middle and having missed the beginning and all and then comparing it to HN all the time, while with O&M having missed the back story?
I’m 90 percent sure it is Dana’s doing. I’ve read where she has said she cringes when she looks at the crude artwork of the first couple years of Ozy and Millie. And while she’s right that the art gets infinitely better as it goes along, I think it makes it much more enjoyable to start from the beginning.
Some of the early storylines — when Ozy and Millie first meet, Millie’s first encounters with Llewellyn, the introduction of Locke and the world in the couch cushions, the first Ozy haircut, the dragon family reunion and Ozy’s “engagement” to Isolde, etc. — are terrific, and they set up some of the stuff you’re seeing now.
As much as it would probably drive Dana nuts, I wish this sequence had started from Day 1 — although newcomers can, of course, always go to http://ozyandmillie.org and see them all from beginning to end.
Could anybody explain why Millie wants to soak her head in ice water? I really don’t get this…I really liked the strips about Millie’s first encounters with Llewelyn, particularly her belief that the dragon was going to eat her mother…

I feel like Im missing some thing. Its a character I don’t know that well and the jokes are kind of missing me.

Its probly to you, like some one seeing Star Trek Voyager before Next Gen, DS9 etc then turning on to Next Gen in season 3
