nope….for better or worse, miley’s the top monster now…

As many have noted, she is simply one in a long line of female performers who go trampy in their performances at some point – usually to show that they are not so innocent after all. Miley, for better or worse, has done so and, unlike others, is making a bundle doing it. The wuestion is, can she come out on the other side in one piece (metaphorically)?

When my girls were younger, their summer camp had a sort of costume contest. It was “dress as your favorite singer”. Most of the girls (my older daughter included) dressed as some form of Miley/Hannah Montana. One girl’s idea of a costume was wearing a Justin Bieber t-shirt. My younger daughter, who was 5 at the time, dressed as Elvis (early, black jacket & jeans version). She won.

She is no longer a kid!

The definition of prostitution is selling one’s body for money. The only thing Miley is not doing is physically fornicating on stage. She is fully aware that her behavior brings big bucks.

The really sad part is that she has an audience.

She has a strong twerk ethic.
