A friend of my lover’s got a mail order bride (oriental, not Russian) and we double-dated with them a bit back years ago. She seemed very shallow (literally) but I don’t know if they’re still together. Last I heard, the guy was doing watercolors in his retirement (lover bought me 2 framed ones of cockatoos); they hang in my bird room along with sketches of Cuddles Cockatoo from 2 events where artists appreciated her.
