Good morning, Vagabonds. I went through all the clippiong in that giant bag I found in my closet and now I’ve returned to reading that English history nook.

I’m going to the monthly women’s meeting/potluck this morning. We will be finalizing the decorations, etc. for next month’s Christmas Tea. I will now be able to get this chocolate candy out of my house. It has been so tempting, but I have been a very good girl and didn’t even eat one piece! (Hershey’s “Treasures” which are part of one of the crafts we did – no one else was willing to test their willpower, so I got to be the guardian for two months.) Today those “Treasures” will go into the individual bags for party favors and I won’t have to smell that chocolate every time I walk past my bookshelf.
Later this evening we will be going out to celebrate our 30th anniversary (which was last Monday). The week has been too busy to celebrate earlier.
Morning, Vagabonds. I did well on the front nine yesterday. I think I can pretty well control my woods now, the ones in my bag, not the ones next to the fairway. But my short game is nothing short of horrible. If I could learn how to use the wedge, I could knock 20 strokes off my game easy.
Good morning Vagabonds..We have a layer of snow, about 1/2 to 3/4", likely won’t stay long though. Actually it’s still snowing lightly..And all your clubs are still straight, right David. ;-)Never been on the links myself, should try it I guess, I’m a bowler my self..I always thought I should try Curling, you know sliding a rock over a sheet of ice. I’d kill myself falling down now..Happy anniversary to Jan and her main squeeze..Enjoy your day and have fun..ttfn
We’ve watched “Curling” on and off for a bunch of years. (Okay, we’ve stopped on the channel it was on long enough to try to figure out the “game” and then moved on.) Just doesn’t hold my interest, Mark.
I’ve heard about a lot of people who retire and then take up golf, David…………..that didn’t interest me either. I guess my niche is hiking in the woods and mountains. :))
@david, only golf now about twice a year with my older bro in SC when i stop by going North & South each year, we dont keep score, but have a good time anyways with the fresh air & scenery . We both do very good at the 19th hole!!:-) :-)

Thank you for all the anniversary wishes. We went out to our favorite prime rib restaurant (Lawry’s) and had a wonderful time.
