Latest figures put the present deficit at $642 billion with no off-budge surpluses figured in. That’s a reduction of about $900 billion; way more than the “halving” of the deficit you can’t seem to find.
And why cry about he deficit and debt; it appears likely that you may be one of the fools who made it all possible by voting for Ronald Reagan, who started this mess, and the two Bushs, who made it worse.
Conquered Mount Reaganomics, and started chipping away to lower it, at least the annual deficit, but Repubtards in the House have fought every step of the way to cut the real costs, contracting, defense, tax breaks, and subsidies to oil, agriculture, mining, and “finance industries”.
