    The Republican leadership has surrendered, and whipped enough of their members to join the Democrats and pass a budget with no kill-the-ACA bits.

    Mr Ramirez seems to think this surrender is turning all the Republican principles upside down.

    The Republican Leadership seems to think that doing anything else will mean a 2015 Congress that is almost Republican-free.

    Hard to know who’s right, or what will happen in the Republican primaries next year and the subsequent elections. Prediction is very difficult when it’s with respect to the future.

    This posturing alone will cost them seats in the House and Senate. 41 votes? What was it that Einstein said about insanity?

    And that “leadership” you speak of, who is that? Cruz? Boehner? Rubio? Ryan? Rand? McCain? McConnell? We have a saying here in Germany: “To many chiefs, not enough warriors”…

    Waah, we lost the vote, lost the election and lost the court case and we still can’t have our way, waaaaaah!

    Michael says, “Prediction is very difficult when it’s with respect to the future.” That’s why I always prefer to predict the past. For instance, I predict that the Republicans will not be able to make Obama a one-term president. (But they still seem to think they can do that.)

    @Genome Project

    You are truly amazing Project, you and other on the left say what a blind rightie Ramirez is and when he dose criticize the GOP you have to say Ramirez is giving up. Who is blind to what?

    Yes but how did we go from my critizing Project to that, while the left had all types of critizims of Blue Dogs or DINOs.

    I have known many people who had stayed in a job just because they did not want to loose health insurance. Now that competitive rates are available to everyone, anyone can change jobs and still get health insurance at rates similar to what was only available to large employers. This helps level the playing field for mid and small businesses. No point telling Mike, of course.

    yeah, republicans surrendering their current “principles” is definitely a win for all. Good thinking, Mr. Ramirez.

    Oh it make sense, yes I did miss spell two words. Sorry if my criticism of you in the past few days hurt your feelings but let’s faces it calling every other guy racist was uncalled for.

    Let’s be honest, doesn’t your above comment have more to do with, you not wanting anyone to stand up to you when you call them racist.

    Yes, the point is Genome and others have in the past stated that Ramirez never criticizes the right at all. Let me put it to you this way, where are the Blue Dogs & DINOs in congress, there gone, the left didn’t really want them to much.

    Bonehead and the rest of the Rinos are proof that it is time for another political party and term limits. They don’t care about the country, only keeping their seats.

    What court case? That little bitty one wherein the SCOTUS decided that the requirement to buy insurance is a tax, such that Congress could tell us to buy insurance or else? If that’s the one you mean “we” lost, then you need to pull your head out of your anus, because there’s yet to be a SCOTUS determination on the entire ACA.
