The window ad has a definite PBS reference.

One bag (about ten pounds, I’d say) of 100% Organic Litter (i.e., sand); that’ll be $59.95 special sale price, Green Fella. And could I interest you in some of our 20% Off Pastis Rat Nip (it could get you a guest-creature rôle in a future PBS strip, you know)?

By “they”, are you referring to Apple? “An app a day keeps normal sociable humans away”.

♫♪Ask any Chemist you happen to see,“What’s this mean, ‘Organic’?”It must contain C. ♫♪

    Sand ain’t organic. Or ‘Organic’.

I see someone is as tired of hearing about Patis as I am.

I prefer the idea of organic, but some have taken it too far as usual.BTW: there is a difference between construction and playbox sand. The former has sharp edges and can hurt children and pets.

The rat nip isn’t very fresh. It’s Pastis’ Prime.

But sand is silicon—not organic. (Unless it has humus or seeds or something in it.)
