Good morning, Vagabonds. I’m not only making progress with my English history book (I’m to the War of the Rose, 15th century) but I’ve cleared the clutter off the bridge table in my bedroom and will fold it up so I’m more comfortable – I also have my suitcase in my bedroom as I’ve begun to pack for Florida.
Morning, Vagabonds. @Alex – LOL! That’s a good one! I hope you posted it at Foxtrot Español too!@Arye – I’ve already told you of how much I enjoy the studying the Tudor dynasty. Great read!
Remember yesterday’s comment about the pleasant wind chimes? Well, now the wind is blowing very hard, and it is just noise. Amazing how the same sound can go from soothing to irritating.
Well…………our snow storm hit!!!!!! We’ve had horrific winds all night, and lots of new snow. Winds are supposed to keep up all day (Jan…….agree about that sound). Actually, the wind noise lulled me to sleep last night and I got 8 1/2 hours of sleep! Woo Hoo….
Here is the web site for Carroll College…….about 12 miles due south of us in town.

high 70’s and 80’s starting Tues. sunny and no wind, shorts and tee shirt days-luving it . back to normal for this time of year. Going out and sit and read for a while- checked my cottage weather yesterday on Lake Ontario 40’s , windy and rainee- My 5th year of “snowbirding”
Ya’ll have a nice day- soo nice to wake up this AM on this side of the ground :-)
Monday, Monday, I looked at NOAA’s weather map a little while ago, and was inspired to write a little ditty. Sung to the tune of, “When It’s Springtime In The Rockies”. For the folks up there, and anyplace else it may apply to.“When it’s wintery in Montana,And the snow comes floating down,Just put another log on the fireAnd forget about going to town.”
