Is there a lesson in attacks on military posts, where of course, “no weapons zones exist”, not, that might indicate that that “armed citizen” may not be as valid a defense as the NRA would have us believe? Just like the high,very high, percentage of folks who “defend themselves” with firearms also end up victims? Often, granted, only wounded, not always killed, but still victims.
^It should be remembered that Reagan first closed mental hospitals and kicked patients out on the street as Governor of California: it should have been a “hint” on what “Reaganomics” would do to the country if he got into the White House. But nobody paid attention then, and even when he took a second term, they hadn’t awakened. Same thing happened with the lunacy of "W"s people, but he was even WORSE!

I suppose that you are happy that your Saint Reagan closed the mental health facilities, otherwise you would be weaving baskets in a padded room.
