I worked at Jack-in-the-Box during high school…happened all the time.

The customer is not satisfied; not with the food, but with the insult.

This indeed is no way to call customers. If it indeed had been a fat lady in a fur coat, it would still have been an insult.

i laughed so hard! but who punched the clown’s head off? Garfield? he’s no fat lady in fur coat! he’s a pet cat! i guess the fourth panel must be that trainee get fired for being insulting

So how many of you have seen a fast food drive-through with a video set-up? I have never seen one. The only drive-through I have seen with video is the one at some banks!

He could have easily said ‘big’ or ‘large’ instead of ‘fat’

I like the look on Jon’s face in panel 2. He is like saying “OH NO, you didn’t just say that”. Because he knows what is going to happen next.

that’s funny…Marcus a supervisor in the workshop at the Houston State School said he went to Jack in the Box once and he said what he wanted and the clown said shut up..funny huh??!!!!!!!!!..why’d the guy say the fat lady in the fur coat?!!!!…Garfield’s a cat for Pete’s sakes!!!!!!!!!
