Dr. Ling: Yes, Paige? Paige: Sir, about next week's test...I looked at the cafeteria schedule and lunch on that day sounds totally vile and disgusting. Dr. Ling: What's that have to do with the test? Paige: This class is fifth period! I can't speak for the other students, but I'm going to have a hard time intelligently answering questions if I'm writhing on the floor fighting nausea and stomach cramps! Dr. Ling: So you want me to postpone it a day? Paige: Actually, the next day's lunch sounds equally bad. Dr. Ling: So when exactly do you propose I give the test? Paige: I figured I'd leave that up to you. Here's the cafeteria schedule. Dr. Ling: You certainly make a compelling case for "never". Paige: Oh, good, so we're in agreement.

This is why I never got lunch at school. Then again, based on Andy’s cooking, it’s a bit of a toss-up for the Fox kids.

Maybe you should bring your lunch, Paige. Arbitrary has a point though. I suppose you should make your own lunch, or try to take the test before school.

tests only bothered me when the class air head got a better grade than i and the teacher had no logical explanation. turned out the teacher was an airhead. lol

My algebra teacher in Jr. High was a hoot. He was an elderly naval man whose mind was slipping. Whenever we wanted to get out of having a class, a student (never the same one twice in a row, and it was never me) would ask him which country had the greatest navy. He would go into an in-depth explanation of certain countries and their navies, while we-all either read or did other homework. Obviously, we couldn’t do this EVERY day…but probably once every other week or so.

You blew your own argument, Paige. If there isn’t a better day it might as well be the day he scheduled it. Sometimes you just have to shut up before you hit that TMI point.

Ah, the teacher that looks just like Morton’s dad. (Morton Goldthwait is Paige’s nerdy admirer. And yes, I know that in that strip the other guy is the teacher, not Morton’s dad.)

I sometimes get links when I play a game on the computer while my sibling watches tv in the same room, a certain sound from the tv at an important point in the game end up linked, each remind me of the other, luckily my brain seperates and reorients these 2 things after a few days.
