Yes, it was better when the newspapers were owned by working-class stiffs like Hearst and Pulitzer.

Why are ultra conservatives such as yourself so ignorantly uninformed? In the first place, paper pulp is already being recycled at a high rate. And even when new paper is made the trees in question are young enough to be replaced at a rate that ensures that they are not being used up at all. Plus, if you read the latest figures for gas mileage in automobiles and light trucks you will find that the gas mileage in the latest automobile industry efforts has increased dramatically. So, reasonable and moderate conservatives as well as liberals have nothing to complain about!!

^ Once again, the Republican/Fox “news” viewer response to any issue is hatred of Obama.

Tigger, you might like to check out www.comicstripoftheday.com, if you already haven’t. The author has written about exactly what you stated, but from inside.-You may have to check back several days, but it’ll be worth it if it’s of interest to you.-It’s a thoughtful and interesting column, in any case.

Gee whiz, it’s too bad there isn’t any alternative to print and TV media, some sort of something where anyone can put out and access any information they want, all over the world. If only they could invent something like that, and make it accessible from our computers, why, who controls the MSM might not matter so much!
