There is a logic here, that makes a sorta sense. Can’t argue with nothing to hide. Hmmmm, maybe all that banning the CIA years ago from spying domestically might have made some sense.

    On the other hand:

I remember a series of very successful robberies that occurred in a very wealthy neighborhood. Families would go on vacation and come home to find their house stripped of all of their personal belongings.

The thieves would find out who was going away for an extended period of time and a day or two after the family left, would come in with moving vans and wearing the appropriate uniforms, pack up everything and drive away. Everyone saw it and no one said anything because it was assumed that the family had decided to move away.

First – disclosure – I am a moderate Democrat. That said, under Bush, I felt that “The Gov’mint” was trying to manipulate our fears for their advantage. " Report Odd Behavior" signs on buses & trains, etc. “Be aware, be wary” yadda yadda. But it continues under Obama. I still think that there is an entity or group thereof that are playing on or fears. Bt if it ain’t Bush (Repubs) and not Obama (Dems), then who is doing it, and what are they getting out of it? ‘Just ’cause I’m paranoid does not mean thiey aren’t out to get me!"
