It’s simple math. “Schroedinger sharing the cat” after two “out-ings” becomes “Schroeder shar the cat” which becomes “Schroeder the catshar” which is “Schroeder the catcher” who may come alive in the batter’s “box” for two more “In-ings.”

What the heck is a “tribute city”? All I see in the background is a kind of table laden with sciencey-looking stuff. Why not a Joseph Cornell Box? Or a Petey Otterloop shoebox diorama?This has got to be one of the worst-of-the-worst among Pastis-puns….

Doesn’t the cat in the box(better than Jack) have something to do with particle physics? about particles that change if they are observed?
