Good morning to you Slim and all the Vagabonds to follow.

Had a nice evening out on Sat. Our oldest grandson had his 30th birthday on Fri., so his father and mother took he and his wife, her mother and the two of us out for dinner. Had a very good time and it was good for my wife to get out for awhile.

Good morning, Vagabonds. I still haven’t finished reading the big pile of NYTimes my roommate brought me.

@DAVID, in today’s “Prince Valiant” a lot of comenters on AzCentral were discussing the various artists who drew the strip over the years. One commenter has followed the strip since 1939, two years after the strip began. I hope you’ll reconsider about dropping PV.

Yes, I dropped a lot of the strips because it was taking too much time when I went on vacations without my laptop and I was spending too much time in internet bars.

    Good Morning, Vagabonds,

We’ll all have a party right here at the Village Hotel for Slim’s birthday. We tried a pot luck for David’s retirement, and Jan and I were the only ones to bring anything. So, this time, let’s just let the catering staff of the hotel take care of it. Cake anyone?
