It always amazes me how so many women (and I’m a woman, so I can say this, but I DON’T to this to my husband) insist on doing things together, but they only do things the woman wants to do. “Let’s go antiquing,” “Let’s go shopping,” “Let’s redo the house.” If you want to do it, do it, but don’t insist on him accompanying you. You meet up in the middle, but these couples that are joined at the hip drive me nuts.
Liz and her mom should leave the guys alone. Three generations are bonding. The girls can go shopping. The guys will be full of snacks and drinks, so nobody will have to cook dinner!
I am a woman, I go to football games and I root on our team. I don’t really like football, but I enjoy spending time with my family. It is ok to have different interests. You can choose to try and enjoy it with him or enjoy the quiet time to yourself. When the big picture comes together……do a few hours out of the week, a few months of the year, really matter?

I had a radio hanging in the bushes I was trimming so I could listen to the game. Shouldn’t have bothered. The Redskins were AWFUL today.
