Here in LA, there was a big deal made of the Mayor going to Laker games, concerts, etc on the venues’ dime. They tried to make it out that he was getting bribed with seats. He is the Mayor, for crise sake! He is supposed to be pro- city entertainments.He is not billing the city for overtime, he is representing the city. This is not the same as paid trips and long hotel stays.
