@ReasonsVent – Trayvon wasn’t shot because he was wearing a hoodie. He was shot because he attacked Mr. Zimmerman.
The hoodie sent a signal to Mr. Zimmerman and quite a few others that this individual was a potential threat. The hoodie covered up his face and made him hard to identify.
For some reason the African American community decried hoods when they were being worn by Clansmen. Would it surprise you to know that there were many clansmen that never committed violence against anyone but they participated in an organization that represented violence against blacks.
Trayvon Martin made himself a person of interest when he donned the hood. I wonder if we would be having this same conversation if the 17 year old in question had been white. IE he walks through a neighborhood that was exposed to crime from hoodwearing individuals and now he is wearing a hood. THEN he attacks an member of the Neighborhood watch.
It’s time to end the victimhood mentality. If I walked into a convenience store at 1:00am wearing a ski mask and I get shot by an overzealous store clerk – I kinda brought it on myself.

I detest any group that uses Violence to enforce their point of view (that also goes along with Randian).
Egotistical – hmmmm – That sorta goes along with Randian. I don’t apologize for my successes but I take responsibility for my mistakes. I’ve made an awful lot of good decisions over the years and have done quite well for myself – I don’t apologize for that. I admire anyone who works hard at the right things and succeeds.

like some one said with all the black on black crime or black on white crime why do you pick this one out. This was just a case of a a hole with a gun and some authority thinking he was great. the rest of the crime were just out and out killing
