I’m glad I bit. Happy upcoming 82nd birthday Slim!
The humidity level dropped by 20% yesterday as the heat went up, but it is still in the mid-40’s, inside and out. The heat is not too bad for late August, mid to high 80’s.
We had the “skin” replaced on our SofTub (soft sided Jacuzzi-type hot tub) yesterday. He completely removed the old skin (vinyl covering that fits snugly over the foam structure – one solid piece, inside and out) and replaced it with a brand new one, then cut out the holes for the jets and light. We had it filled up by about noon yesterday, and it’s up to being lukewarm already. It cost about a quarter of what it would have to replace the spa completely. My husband uses it almost daily for his back, and he’s really missed it!
Had a healing service last night and had a fairly good crowd. Didn’t get over too late, about 9 PM. Nice day today, sunny and warm. P/T was here this morning for my wife and was very pleased with her progress, but it will be a slow process for her to fully recover.
Lake O is glass again today at the cottage, went out yesterday aft. for couple hrs. and beached and read someand skinney dipped, yea haa- going out again this aft.
