I’m thinking that Rob is the dog. Trooper is the guy with all the padding.

GoComics stopped working for me about an hour and a half ago….just came back in time for me to say goodnight….

But in answer to Bev and Twinkly Lights… hey, I do a LOT of the clean-up myself….dishes, the grinder, etc.

The Monkey cleans the outdoor grill at the end of he day shift…. he’s particular….

Dimitri comes in every night and does the indoor grill, the stove, sinks, tables and floors and such.

br>The little monkeys usually just tend bar on Tuesday and Thursday nights when Fenton is off….

But for special events, yeah, sometimes some of them come in day or night for some clean-up work….just things they can lift.

And you’ll see Fenton kinda hiding….they really love Fenton…. But he acts none too thrilled to be their guru, so to speak…but I think he’s secretly proud.

I like to stop and pet the cats and dogs of my friends (and even feed them and teach them things as I did when my lover had a dog) but I’d never want one for me. I really just am a bird person.

I enjoy going to the bird shop where I used to buy toys and have grooming done to visit with their birds. They even let their boarders out to play in the designated area (or just sit on the manzanita perches). I can go there even when not looking for a bird (because, of course, they all know me). The shelters are all way out in the East part of the valley, but the former “Chirp N Dales” is quite nearby.

He wouldn’t have so much trouble if he would ditch the extendible leash and get a sturdy 6 foot training leash.

I posted oh another site about the bunny this morning, They always run along the flower bed and dash across any open area. Our yard is completely fenced in so no predators, except for “the Band of Brothers” (Cooper’s Hawks) who play Top Gun across the yard, swooping down to window level, up and around only to do it again, over and over.

Trooper has chosen his moments. Careful observation, tactical in all respects, cunning and without pity, his seditious acts of aggression flies in the face of the pet and owner tradition which was established ions ago and has never been challenged until now. Not once, not twice but a well orchestrated assault has lead Rob to this undeniable crossroads. Defend himself at all times, take nothing for granted, I don’t bounce the way I used to.

“As I was preparing to leave for tai-chi class I dropped something heavy on my sandaled foot, which caused a pop-knot and such throbbing I couldn’t go to class. Then after that calmed down I went on an errand and slammed the car door on my thumb! Did you ever have one of those days you should have just stayed in bed?!”

A big part of the problem is the long, reel leash. A dog can get really out of control before he reaches the end of his tether. I nearly had a cat dislocate my shoulder with a static leash. Just imagine the force a big dog can generate.
