Somehow, with the largest Navy the world has ever seen, I do no think that any Middle Eastern country is ever going to be any kind of a threat to the US itself. And if we can eventually get ourselves off of the oil teat, then we really should not care what these various fanatics do to themselves. I only feel for the innocents involved, especially the women and children!!

With a Navy that has twelve major aircraft carrier groups, any one of which is fully capable of destroying an entire nation, there are no direct and viable threats to the US. I am fully aware that does not mean that there are no threats at all, there is always some kind of threat. But basically, the “Only thing we have to fear , is fear itself”. That very paranoia then develops into the ultimate threat to our own freedoms. And we then do that to ourselves!!
Stipple: “our God, not theirs”? Does that mean India and the Hindus? Muslims worship the same God of Abraham as Christians and Jews, period. “Allah”, just means “God”, or do you want to start Christians speaking Hebrew to get the name right?
Sod ‘Em Insane certainly wanted the world to THINK he had WMD’s and would use them! I think he sent them all to Halfass A. Sod to keepfor him ‘just until this blows over.’ Where thepoison gas he got from Sod ’Em Insane is nowbeing used by Basher A. Sod against his own people, just as Insane used it in his effort to put down the Kurds.

That is not surprising because at bottom there is NO difference. A politician is a politician isa politician. Their ONLY true interest is to get into offfice and stay there, with the aim of acquiring and exercising as much power and inflluence as possible for as long as possible. All the -ologies and -isms are smoke and mirrors to fool the voter….
