Good morning, Vagabonds. I just finished another game of Scrabble in Turkish. This time I lost by a wider margin: Me: 208; my Turkish-speaking opponent: 233

Good morning to all Vagabonds.Nice sunny day today. Going to be in the mid 80s with low humidity. I’ll check in later after I go to the hospital. We are having a meeting with her case manager to decide where she will go for rehab.

    Good Morning, Everyone,

Another fine day up here…………..52 during the night and it got all the way up to 75 yesterday. Hooray! Fall weather for a few days!!!!

Hope all of our patients are recuperating well. You boys have your hands full it seems.

Beets are ready to start harvesting. I’ll do them in rows so I don’t have too many at one time to eat. Not sure if I want to freeze them after I cook them or not.

Rita, my grandmother used to cook the beet greens along with the beets. If you like spinach, you will like this, too. My mom hated beets, but she loved the greens.
