REX MORGAN" Rex is not only a great doctor, he’s a great diplomat. He has calmed his daughter down and now she’s excited again about her book. I still want to see what Uncle Miltie is up to.

MARY WORTH: It looks like Mary will be going alone to Arizona.

Rex Morgan: Rex must be Irish because he knows how to sling the blarney.Phantom: Those are some disguises on the three girls. No one would know them.Mary Worth: Are we sure that Mary doesn’t work for a travel agency.

@Woodworker: I think “Morgan” is a Welsh surname.

APT 3-G: Apparently the Gov & Zoey have a plan to turn Lu Ann into “arm candy.” I think Lu Ann deserves a guy who will appreciate her just the way she is.MARY WORTH: I have grown to appreciate and like the way the MW strip uses the “drink with a friend” to transition between stories…and I’m looking forward to the change of scenery (Arizona).JUDGE PARKER: Alan appears to be ecstatic in the last panel…but what will his Katherine say about this cozy arrangement? ….do ya think Stacey could have a connection to those two mysterious guys (the one with the binoculars and the one with the newspaper)?

@Florchi and @Arye Uygur. When I said Rex must be Irish, it was a tongue in cheek remark. I am of Welsh ancestry and the name Crosby meant someone who lived by a cross road, hence the name cross by. They later emigrated to Scotland and then to England where my ancestor, Simon Crosby, came to Boston in 1635.

@Woodworker: I know you meant it tongue in cheek. wow 1635! That means about 10 generations in America. Did you know that the Tudors (Henry VIII) were originally welsh and their ancestry goes back to King Arthur’s time? King Arthur was actually Welsh. The first Tudor king was the grandson of a welsh adventurer who married (or lived with) the widowed queen of Henry VI of England, but he was descended from Welsh princes.

And also the Welsh don’t call themselves “Welsh.” They call themselves “Cymry” or something like that. The Germanic invaders called all the Romanized peoples they invaded something with the letters W(V)LC – so in Belgium you have Walloons and in Romania you have Vlachs or Wallachians and in Scotland you have Wallac

@Florchi & @Arye: I am glad that you both didn’t think I was upset when you told me that Morgan was a welsh name. Sometimes my humor is a little black at times. Everybody thinks that Bing Crosby came from Ireland but he came from the same line as I did from one of Simon Crosby’s sons. Some of the Irish that were in hiding ages ago took the name of Crosby as an alias and brought it back to Ireland. Genealogy is very interesting.

@Arye Uygur: Thanks for the info on the people who were Welsh, but I never heard them called any thing other than Welsh or Welshmen. How they pronounce some of their words is beyond

Judge Parker – Katharine was helping and may not appreciate how eagerly he seems to jumpat this new opportunity. And it does seem strange that this person isn’t busy with other guests and duties.Mary Worth – Even a small change of scenery can be invigorating, but maybe the spa will be not so peaceful. A3G – I still think she should not accept this “gift”. There are bound to be strings attached.Mark Trail – Hippo oil might be a good skin cream but the marketing would be difficult!

Foxtrot – Babelfish translates YatinExile’s comment as:I stopped reading when dad said “I’m thinking”. In other words, dad’s ideas are usually crazy or offbeat. This one certainly is and he knows it but wants Peter to stop him.
