I hate it when I’m watching some gritty, realistic movie or TV show and the mood is broken by some bus driving by with an ad on the side with a 555 number.
It’s kinda funny, considering how many people have been posting comments here about how much Jane & Jill look alike, that Jill describes Jane as being “not in Chelle’s league”. (heeheehee) Maybe she’s not the only one…
What bugs me is when an actor in a movie says “call me at FIVE FIVE FIVE etc”. Totally spoils the movie. There are many ways they could get around this, one example would be“call me at (noisey truck passing) …3278”.
It would have been funny if the numbers were tied to those phony collector call centers. You know, the ones that call trying to get payment on an account you never held…

Checked the phone #s on a caller complaint site, two are real and one is “spoofed”, probably not a working number.
