Our library has a VHS copy of Song of the South. I hadn’t seen it since I was a kid, so we watched it. It’s not so much racist as simply a product of its time. Not hateful, just condescending.

Actually, I think it would be interesting to watch the Democrats defend the qualifications of a billionaire TV star while the GOP denounces populism.
