MARY WORTH: Well, Elinor changed from addressing her future son-in-law from “Mr” to Tom in just one strip.

REX MORGAN: Non new real developments. I wonder what’s with Milton.

Judge Parker – That’s the guy with the binoculars a few days ago.Rex Morgan – Booooring.Mark Trail – Birdwatching was never one of my interests.Hi and Lois – Actually, Chip has a good idea. He can make pretty good money that way, but I wouldn’t choose a bail bondsman’s corner.

Judge Parker – Another kidnapping planned?Phantom – A 3-woman hit team?Funky – If Lisa wrote this shortly after the event, as a diary usually is, would she really have had this much insight? Someone once said that to grow up female in America is to have your head full of mush (the romance novel background).

Mary Worth – One of the historical descriptions I’ve read said that this strip was usually distinctly separate stories with Mary having very little to do with them. This story arc certainly fits that. Other strips, like Judge Parker, keep several story arcs going with one being in the forefront and the others on the back burner for a time.
