Morning, Vagabonds.I’ve started re-organizing my in-home office. My intention is to get back to the genealogy study that I put aside so many years ago. Now that I’ve cleaned out the file cabinets, I can move all the genealogy papers from the boxes into drawers and organize them better.

Did a bunch of gardening again yesterday. Cut back all the basil and made a large batch of pesto, froze that in ice cube trays, and then they’ll pop out and store in Tupperware until I’m ready to use it. The nice thing about the basil……….it grows like a weed! It’ll keep producing all summer.
Mark…………..I thought you were referring to The Lone Ranger…….but have no idea who George or Arline were??? I’m actually looking forward to seeing the new Lone Ranger. Love that Johnny Depp and his portrayals.
Rita, I saw your gas mileage remark from yesterday a few minutes ago. I laughed out loud.
dkram, I will admit I looked it up and had never heard of it. It sounds like a fun old “b” movie serial to watch, though. I did find that MST3000 lampooned it pretty thoroughly. I will leave it to someone else to guess properly without cheating as I did.
Good afternoon Villagers.The heat wave was officially broken last night. Had to shut most of the windows as the temps. were in the high 60s. Only going to be in the 80s for the next few days. Had a small T storm last night, more noise than rain although some places up north got large amounts. Possibility of more over the next few days.
The movie serial was titled “Radar Men from the Moon”, the lead character was named Commando Cody.They used the Rocketman suit from “King of the Rocketmen” another serial, and “Zombies of the Stratosphere” whitch included a young Leonard Nimoy in a minor roll..I do not know if Rocket man inspired Elton John or not, but there is a singing group named Commando Cody and the Lost Planet Air Men.I like old movie house serials, since I got DVD I’ve gotten a lot of them..ttfn
