Good morning, Vagabonds. @Slim, I hope you’ve resolved your problems with the medical people so you can be examined and get a clean bill of health.

@David: We’re approaching the finishing line: 3 more days!

@Montana Lady (from yesterday evening)They’re giving me a goodbye party tomorrow. Then we have the Order of Farewell to the Pastor during Sunday’s morning service. My Sermon will be from II Timothy 4:6-8 and the topic will be “You Say Goodbye, I’ll say Hello.” Then, on the new pastor’s first Sunday they will have the Order of Welcoming a New Pastor.

    Good Morning, Everyone,

David……that sounds wonderful! I looked up the passage, and agreed that it is a wonderful starting reference for your sermon. Three…………..:))

Hail yesterday afternoon, but the small kind. Didn’t tear up any plant leaves thankfully.

Watched the old Jimmy Stewart/June Allyson movie……“Strategic Air Command”. The flying scenes of the old B-36 were incredible! Add to the photography, the score of Victor Young and I get goosebumps. :))

    Good morning, Vagabonds.

David, thanks for the earworm. I looked up your passage, too and while it is an excellent starting point for a farewell sermon, let’s leave the “death” part of it out of the equation for a while, OK?

Has anyone else been watching the Nat Geo series “North America”? It is narrated by Tom Selleck and is really very good. We recorded them to watch later and have been savoring them.

Howdy Vagabonds..Must be loosing my mind I thought I had done this already. (hooboy). It’s been a nice day starting to fade..The answer to my Question yesterday: Larry, William Sanderson, Darryl 1, Tony Papenfuss, Darryl 2, John Voldstad.

I understand that The two Darryls used to visit camp Ta-kum-ta here in VT for kids with cancer. The name is not from the native culture around here, the story is that a young fellow had expressed the wish “I wish I had a camp to come ta”..Well here I go, whistling down the road..ttfn
