Phoebe: I can't believe I don't get to be in the play! Dad: I know, Phoebe. I'm really sorry. If it helps, you'll always be MY ladybug. Phoebe: I hafta throw up again, but I want to make it clear it's not from what you just said. Dad: I would have wondered.

Oh its just pure adorableness. Though I’m still waiting for 1 of 2 pay offs either the play goes in a way that makes Phoebe glad she missed it or Marigold does some thing to cheer her up. I think if this was the Cosby show the whole family would have hosted the play in there living room.

Well, I would hug Phoebe if she wasn’t still throwing up.

Hugging your horse (unicorn) works too.

Poor kid. I feel so bad for her. But at least she gets to spend her sick day with a unicorn.

Theiry, either Dakota either fiund a way to make Phoebee sickto get the lead, or Marigold did since Phoebee’s ego was growing since she got the part

‘Show don’t tell’ is proclaimed loudest by those who don’t know how to tell. ;)

Frame (Cell?) number 3 is one of the more touching ones in the entire series.

Shouldn’t that be, ‘PlatyPI’?
John W Kennedy Premium Member almost 11 years ago
Well, “octopi” is somewhat more justified than “platypi”, because “octopus”, though originally Greek, was imported into English from Latin. But the fact is that “octopuses” is the normal English plural.
“Octopodes” and “platypodes” are the correct Greek-style plurals, but unless you’re a college professor, you’re better off not using them (especially since “-podes” has two syllables).

I just love that the dad has a ponytail and a gut. Props for not putting another glasses-wearing, rail-thin, balding dad into the comic world!

Throwing up has never been so d’aww-inducing.

This comic is actually a bit of a precursor to Marigold’s misadventures with trying to get into Grass: The Musical. Man, Phoebe and her Unicorn don’t have great luck with plays, do they?
