And just what is any other country on Earth doing about Syria? Why is it up to the US to police other countries? Let Canada or Europe do it. Let them pay for it for a change. We’ve done more than enough.
I’m willing to bet money that US satellites provided the intell that gave Israel their targets. Mr. Obama IS staying out of the way, he’s also learning from the Syrian response about what the US might be able to do if/when we go in. ^The Reuters report quoting a UN rep that Syrian rebels may have been the ones who released the gas is being disputed by the administration which makes me feel that a domino has been tipped. It would have been easy for Mr. Carney to used the UN statement for cover on the Red Line issue, but he chose to claim that the admin still believes the Assad administration or people under Assad’s command used the weapons.^Israel attacked Hezbollah’s weapon stocks stored in Syria, it did not attack Syria’s gov’t. This has happened before. Syria did not shoot a single Israeli aircraft despite their advanced antiaircraft resources. The next few days/weeks should be interesting.Thoughtfully,C.

Damascus 2013 may turn out like Beirut in 1982 for the Israelis.

So Benson wants a military dictatorship rather than a constitutional monarchy. Well, Syria is nice this time of year, Steve.

Fine with me Israel. It’s about time YOU did the fighting instead of us while you – forced to or not forced to – stay on the sidelines.
We’re in too many wars already and the NeoCons are already coming up with more countries they want us to invade.
Put McCain, Graham and FAUX reporters at the “Tip Of The Spear”, when our troops get sent into another war.
