We spent the day/evening in Great Falls…….platelet donation time.
Took a ride up to Fort Benton………….the end of the line for the steamships supplying the wild west on the Missouri. Everything was sooooooo green. What a lovely ride.
Jan, I’m with you for the party for David…….I already volunteered to bring the chili and home made bread. You guys can stop by the deli and bring some other goodies.

I just looked up the answer to my own question. The first movie “Cheaper by the Dozen” to liberties with the birth of the 12th child. Jane was indeed the youngest child (she was a toddler at the beginning of the movie) and Robert was one of her older brothers. The reason there are only 11 children in “Belles on their Toes” is because one of the older children, Mary, died of diphtheria when she was 6. While she was a character in “Dozen”, they switched back to reality in “Belles”.
