Easy access to weapons. Constant reinforcement about violence solving problems. Religion—yes. But this isn’t about radicalization; it’s about out of control desperate young men who have access to weapons and the will to kill.

Re Christians and newer than 3 centuries ago how about oh I don’t know- Ireland. Lots of deaths, bombings etc etc and all 20th and 21st centuries.’

The Quran cites Jesus with more respect, and more adherence to his teachings, than most modern “Christians” who want to blow everyone up, and make money doing it. The biggest difference is they see him as a prophet, NOT “God” which is another latter day “Christian” myth, made up by later followers.
