I can relate to struggling in a social environment because of things parents didn’t teach me.

A simple, ‘It sucked!’ would have been sufficient, Ozy

Bullies will beat you up because they think they are better then you, they’ll even beat you up if you think you are better then them

Ozy needs a tip from Caddyshack.Just be the ball son, be the ball.(and still get wacked with a stick either way)I feel for Ozy. I was a skinny kid all lanky. My dad kept saying don’t worry you will get bigger. I did but so did they. I was just a little bigger but they went humongous. So Ozy needs to do what I did. Just carry on. After a while I was admired for just trying.

Sad to say, his comments about the adults is spot on. For all the “zero tolerance” on bullying in schools, I still get angry about the lack of discipline that takes place when one kid constantly bullies others, even to the point of pounding on my son on the bus with the driver right there. Other boys had to do the job of pulling this little punk off my son & this kid is a cop’s son. The punishment? 2 weeks bus suspension, big deal our town is all of a mile long & a mile wide. My son is told by these adults to toughen up when kids pick on him, so when this kid was in his face in the coat room, threatening him & pushing him, my son pushed back, which gave this kid the excuse to stand in his way on the bus, when my son pushed past him he decided to beat him up. Yeah, the adults in schools don’t know the meaning of “zero tolerance”. Of course if my kids do something to get back at the bullies, they are the ones getting in trouble & told they should have just let it go. My daughter went to the playground monitor & then the principal about bullying & was told that he would look into it, nothing came of that either. Now my loving, caring considerate daughter has become a surly loner who has to take anti-depressants to keep from wanting to commit suicide.

better serene than dragon’s rage, but If someone can break his barrier of serenity, that’sa Millie… I wonder what will happen to her if she does that.
