I don’t see Tony’s ankles as the definition of supple.

Anyhow…. looks like I missed some more fun…. though I was out have other fun, so I’m not really running at a fun deficit.

It would be nice to be able to bottle some up….you know, take a little out on a rainy day, when you have to do laundry…

One of those days when maybe you’re happy you at least found last Friday’s newspaper in the laundromat…but it turns but somebody already did the crossword and the Sudoku…completely incorrectly…in ink.You could pull out a piece of, say, yesterday’s party…there was plenty of extra fun there…

and suck on it for a while…

    aaaahhhh.

    Did I miss you, Bev?

Gosh… I’m sorry….would love to have a nightcap with you!

One of the friends who took me to dinner just called to tell me she made it home…she usually does that…and NO we weren’t drinking….it’s just that it’s a 35 mile drive.

Tonight I have to do a sleep oximetry test to show that my CPAP is working. Imagine wearing a moustrap on on finger all night. I have to do this once a year until I retire from bus driving.

Anyway…. I was just checking into something…and I was right….three of you earned so much extra credit over these past few days, I was able to put in a word… pull a few strings…. and have these issued:

Hi Bri — I didn’t think about the bus driving aspect of CPAP.

    I guess it makes sense.

Actually I’d appreciate being given that test…they just kinda turn you out here and say “Have a nice life.”

You can re-order supplies and if you have a problem, make an appointment… which is hard to get.But nobody does any follow-up, otherwise… EVER.

I want one of those trampolines here at work. My bouncy sitting ball has a leak and the tramp would be great!

Shika — I would love to ride with Prince Mua.

Perhaps he can give me a tip or two about acting royal.Cats are soooo good at it.

We can go in Kitty-Kitty Bang-Bang if he feels more comfortable…if a human my size fits in, cos I don’t know whether it’s a cat-size car.

But if he’d like a ride in my car…. I can assure you (and him) that before his recent retirement, Elvis was a limo at SCHAABS, working for StelBel.

He was always kind, patient and and courteous to animals of every species, and a very careful driver….just as I count on his being today.

    Hi UpsideDownGirl….

Spend enough time under the table at bars, and I’m sure you can find a tramp!

    LOL

Nobody on the street, not many in the Tiki Bar…Ballard County is sleeping, resting up from all the people and activity.

I’m still recovering myself…not just from the all the activity, but from the shock…and the excitement…and the emotional high…

Can’t stay awake.. so I’m off to bed…with one more big

It has often been said, Tony is just an excitable boy. It was only yesterday, he called the neighbors and told them he had heard the ice cream truck again, and they should be on the look out. Saturday, he called dial a prayer, six times, it was so inspirational. The Friday before that, he had submitted his editorial to the Weekly Registry on multitasking in the modern era; one of his better reads. On Tuesday, he rose before the Tillers for Time monthly meeting to personally thank them for their “Rent a Rabbit” Easter Day Egg Hunt. A wild success; a colossal moment in block history. And today is the third straight day of work at home Thursday. These days are still in the experimental stage, but so good so far. Shirley is not so sure. She said, cut that out you’re going to hurt yourself, lose the socks, not those pants with that jacket and get back to the office. Good thing one of them has a practical side.

Dig those socks. They still wear socks like that?

A great job by all in the planning & execution of the birthday bash. We should have a party for the organizers, but I don’t know who could organize it.

I think the test that Brian took is similar to the little clamp on thing I sometimes wear while doing some cardio workout (or dancing to music that y’all post on here). I can’t type while wearing it tho, and by the time I sit down at the keyboard, pulse is back to normal. I don’t know the point in the O2 reading (only time I ever was low there was a small case of Valley fever (years ago).

Late posting been down in West, Texas. Just got back. Was sent right after it happened. Lots of devastion I have seen since Nam. Spent all night looking for folks. Find some survivors and a few not so luck. Back to resupply and decompress. On standby for now.To the story.Tony is on the first hour of his five hour energy drink. Wait till he walks the dog!!!!Remember the “Moon Shoes”?I don’t bounce a lot in my office. I like to spin in my chair at times. I will be visiting with some one (I know). Stop talking and do a spin. Come back and say “Go on…”

There were areas we could not get to at the time due to dangerous situations as the fire was still going on and if you notice all those farm Anhydrous Ammonia tanks around. There was possibility of leakage much less more explosions. When I went into the area I was assigned I had my protective mask on that they gave us for WMD situations. One person asked why? I said smell that ammonia? Look at that vapor cloud in that depression on the road. One remarked “It don’t smell so strong now.” I said “Right because it kills your sense of smell first then begins on your lungs. You need to get to fresh air quickly.” Right after that others with my team had masks on. The guy who lost his smell later took a bit ill from exposure. He would be okay but if he had stayed longer?I know West, Texas also. My old Sergeant is a Gerik and is from that community. He retired years ago. I saw him while I was down there. He was in tears. He may have lost some relatives he thinks who were on the volunteer FD first in but at the time he was not sure. He asked if I could check. I told him I would try but at the time info was unavailable. There was a FD unit and fighters on the scene close fighting the blaze. I don’t think they made it. That blast was incredible. Refer back to Texas City after WWII when the ship load of fertilizer went up. There were 12 firefighters and the truck on the dock when it blew. They never found them or the truck. A portion of the ship boiler weight near 10 tons was found five miles inland. The blast is that powerful.

I have a spare case..er… bottle or two of Dom P. that washed up mysteriously near my galleon. I’ll bring them down to the Tiki with a label warning that these are specifically for you.Since your carpentry skills are so good, perhaps we may discuss bookcases in my home ? Just kidding !

I think everyone is a little deflated by the tradgedies. I got that wireless hub my daughter sent connected today and also recognised by my computer system, software and malwear. Have to get hold of her to sign onto the old laptop and anyway (after sorting files till midnight last night for my backup) I’ll have a soaking bath and get to bed early tonight.See y’all in the morning bright and . . . whatever!

Awaiting change over. They screwed up the format at Comics Kingdom. It’s as if they don’t want anyone to read any comics there.
